Snow in the high peaks this am?

And some at Katahdin, The Whites, the Green Mtn Spine, and  a mixed blip on the Plattekill area

The intellicast radar is always the most "positive."  I thought about using in on the site, but I figure if the proacc shows snow it's more likely to be significant.  Still always watch both when it's a big storm and marginal.

Flurries this am in the central Dacs, sticking above 2000'. Time to put the summer stuff away. Lets hope for at least an average snowfall for the upcoming season. After last year it would feel epic.

snowed down to almaost 1500 overnight.  Flurries all day in the LP, Ray Brook, SL!

Snowy Mtn would have made a nice ski area. There is a bowl NE of the peak that has around 2000 vertical feet. About 2/3 of the bowl faces north and NE.

10/20/12 is starting out as a beautiful morning in God's Country!!!  Sun is warm, dew is vaporizing and the temps are soaring!

Man its good to be alive!

you called it. took long bike ride with friends. rode thru sun, clouds, rain, beautiful foliage glistening with rain. passed apple orchards, pumpkin patches, and smelled hot,fresh apple cider donuts. hmmm, donuts.

70 and sunny by Friday!!  But no, the climate is not changing....  

I'm keeping the bike tuned up.  Looks like at least another good month of trail riding!  

Colder today.  Glimpses of white up high through the thick clouds covering us this morning.  20s for lows this weekend.  We need a cold air mass to move in and freeze up the ground so the guns get blazing!

It's Nov 1 for Christ sakes!!!
