Just took the plunge and purchased my pass right before the deadline. Was really tempted to go MAX only, but only having 5 days at Gore was not enough as I knew I'd surpass it. Also wasn't sure how many days I would use in VT and if I would make it up enough to WF on account of the drive and having to travel all the time for work. Also not sure if I will make it out to CO or UT this year on account of thinking of heading up to Banff again for a west trip.
This is the first time I've had a season pass in many a moon. Hope it works out as good as last time I had one where I got it down to $30 a ticket/day. I had an Empire card last year and did OK, but ended up not skiing some days on account of debating if conditions were worth spending the $$. Season pass changes that, just hope it's a great season and Gore can make the snow if it doesn't deliver.
The Maine Coon has not started to put on her winter coat yet, she will grow that in the fall so she is no help for predicting the winter (she has been right for the last 5 or 6 years when we learned how to read her). However the cool wet summer is also a good indicator. If I had to guess right now I'd say put in a lot of wood
I'm never totally sure when to flip the conditions thread over to the following year. It always feels like it should be sometime after Labor Day but I just don't know. it would seem like when Mike posts his countdown clock for Gore that might make sense but the first time you did it it was so early maybe we could coordinate in the future :-)
I'm kidding just be your own self buddy and keep the Stoke coming.
