A friend of ours just took over managing this small Inn on 9N in Upper Jay about 5 miles from Whiteface. Remodeled rooms some of which are pet friendly which is a rarity around here so you can bring your dog along. Reasonably priced as well and includes breakfast. Marie can help with area's hiking trails and climbing routes so she can be a nice resource for guests as well as offer resturant suggestions.
