Yup. Just wanted to confirm it was still in NJ. So I could avoid it at all costs.

Go with the flow bro.

This place was a Gore blog, and Adirondacks Blog, an Eastern NY Blog (still kinda is)...

Got a little CNY and once upon a time we had a guy posting from Holimont/HV.

I seen Adk hate, VT hate, Cats hate, CNY hate, NJ hate.  Whiteface hate, Gore hate, Big Tupper hate, Belle hate, Hunter hate, Windham hate, even Snow Ridge hate.

It is what it is.

Relax and dream about that first ride on the cushy AE2.

I wish they could change the borders just enough so that it was in New York so I wouldn't get all this crap for posting about it.  So what that it is out of NY.  Jay Peak, Mad River Glen, Killington, etc. are also outside of NY and no one gets flamed for posting about them.

Let me also ask this.  If Mount Peter which is in New York were my home mountain and I skied it as much as I ski Mountain Creek, would I still have a drinking game started if I posted about it as much as I post about Mountain Creek?  If the answer is yes, then it is another case of internet hypocrisy syndrome because then this is not the NY Ski Blog, it is the UPSTATE NY Ski Blog.
I think the issue at hand is you haven't posted one appealing thing about skiing at MC

Let me ask this. If your numerous posts about Mountain Creek in multiple threads were instead discussing a revolutionary E.D. drug, and people on this forum didn't want to hear about it, would that also be a case of internet hypocrisy syndrome?

Here's a throw-back to when what is now part of Mountain Creek (Bear Peak?) was called Great Gorge. It was intended to be  part of the Playboy Club, built a short distance across the valley. Hugh Heffner was banking on casino gambling in NJ to be statewide, only to after-the-fact finding out it would only be OK'd for Atlantic City.

Just saw this an hour ago elsewhere. I'm surprised we have not had a dissertation (or 2 or 3) yet from Sno.

Skied powder at Mountain Creek today in complete white-out conditions.  This picture is of Zero-G.  There was about a foot of new snow on skier's right with a thin manmade base with a couple weeds sticking out.  Lapped it many times.  Cabrio lift was on wind hold, so they were using the old triple which limited how quickly the snow was skied out.  Since it was refreshing 2-4 inches each hour, there was always untracked powder every run.

Re: Mountain Creek Conditions

Was very empty.  Won't be the case tomorrow, so my dad and I are going up to Hunter.

Part of the reason the trails were empty was because they were using the older triple chair instead of the stand up gondola.  There was no line anyway, so I didn't mind having to use the fixed grip lift. Would have loved to get a day with that amount of snow at Plattekill where all the trails are as steep as the one pictured.
