Is there anywhere I can find snowfall records for all of the ski areas in the Adirondacks? It seems none of the ski areas publish data for more than 5 years prior.

I haven't seen anything like this. I'd also like to see this is someone has a lead on it.

This is all I got:

http://directory.nyskiblog.com/Albany-CWA-Average-Annual-Snowfall-td5001268.html

http://directory.nyskiblog.com/New-York-Ski-Area-Snow-Totals-td5001454.html

Not what you are asking for I realize.

Some of the triangles on the first link are ski areas.

Suggestion:

The radar thing is broken now.

When i click the picture on the right hand side i want to see that map but bigger. Now it shows some other map in the main weather page. This is a huge bug. Especially when you click it and expect to see some beautiful BLUE on the map.

I agree. My first place to check weather radar is to go to the home page and click on the radar thumbnail. Can it be changed to enlarge the thumbnail rather than take us to the weather page?

I changed this back last night, sorry I neglected to mention. Crazy day today.

My original thought was that the home page NY radar would link to the weather page and the radar on the weather page would expand. But that was easier said than done.

The original home page (circa 2007) was almost all weather, and we have been moving away from that as the weather page has developed. The new homepage design is going to have even less weather info on it. Maybe just the radar shot.

Thanks for the input. We want to have the most useful weather resources possible.

Considering weather pages for:

Ontario
Quebec
Utah
Colorado

Opinions? Input?

If you have links to content you think would be valuable please post below.

Don't expect this immediately as there is a lot going on at this time.

The 2-7 day forecasts have been replaced with a 3 day forecast, broken into 12 hour increments:

The way NWS works is that the URLs are update 2x a day and when the update would happen you would switch from

Day 2 1pm,  Day 3 1pm,  Day 4 1pm etc

to

Day 2 1am,  Day 3 1am,  Day 4 1am etc

The effect was that all of the sudden the forecast would look "better" (snowier) but actually all you were seeing was the effect of colder overnight temps.

Works better for me anyway.

Not a bug, just an idea.

FYI - Open Snow links have been added to most of the weather pages in the sidebars.

How often is Open Snow updated?

Anyone have Open Snow Premium? Thoughts on it?
