I thought I'd post the rest of my pictures from my hike of the
Peaked Mountain Pond Trail. I had more than I could fit in my blog post. It had been a long time since I'd done this hike, and it's a beauty. A short walk with lots of reward.
The day was calling for thunder in the late afternoon and Peaked is not a place you want to be in a thunderstorm. I was at the trailhead at 7am and back in the car just before noon.

Summit "View"
Getting down can be confusing if you haven't paid attention or looked back on your final approach to the top. I saw very few markers to show the way down. If there could only be one marker for the return, this was the one I'd choose..

The Big Erratic in the Swamp
