Thanks SIAWOL for the Sugarloaf photo. I was just talking about never skiing at Sugarloaf at work yesterday  with a girl originally from Maine. I got home to find this great evening shot of Sugarloaf. I showed it to her today we both agreed a nice picture. She’s from Brunswick and only skied there a couple times long ago. Thanks again.

To me, the classic Gore Mountain view is of the upper mountain.

There aren't too many places where you can get an overall view of Gore, like the view in the pic that kicked this thread off.  Here's a view of the lower mountain from behind the lodge, a spot most of us don't get to very often.  I was there just messing around with the kids there at the end of one day this past winter:



The signature Whiteface view, this one is from just two days before Opening Day last November:
