Barrett - Jackson Scottsdale is going on now. Watching last night and this SEMA built F250 made me feel funny in my pants!

Nice truck. I've found those Barrett Jackson prices to be highly inflated. I don't know if it's just wealthy people who want a cool car who don't really shop around much and only go to a Barrett Jackson auction and get into a bidding war, or if there are "plants" bidding the prices up.
Two friends have sold classic cars in the past year in perfect restored condition, original matching numbers, etc. and didn't get any offers near the Barrett Jackson numbers. And yes, they were both advertised nationwide.

You can also find some really good deals at Barrett-Jackson. Buddy of mine bought a sweet Camaro  at Scottsdale last year that is his daily driver. They are just like any other auction, meaning, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I buy/sell at auctions all day long and sometimes I just SMH.

In the true auto collectors world I think who did the resto is as important as how it was done.

Front end Friday!

I learned the hard way that blacked out headlights don't work very well, and that most women are not into guys with two black eyes.

Sent those cock suckers back to China!

It was very hard to see. I suppose maybe I could have put HIDs or LEDs in there to make it brighter, but I just decided I didn't like them. It looks badass, but defeats the purpose of a headlight.

This rig looks like it should be driven by the main character of some disaster movie.

I had a set on one of my trucks. I took them off at night then back on in the AM. That got old real quick and left them off.

The new LEds are cool

Re: Sweet Car Thread.

JTG4eva!
Kind of on topic, and worth discussing.

Ford to keep its sweetest car (the Mustang) in its US lineup.....and ONLY the Mustang.  Ford is pretty much abandoning the US car business to focus on (currently) more profitable trucks, SUVs, and commercial vehicles.

In an interesting political aside, how do you think that will play for Ford when a decidedly non-green Trump exits office, fuel prices increase, and MPG becomes a renewed focus?
We REALLY need a proper roll eyes emoji!!
