Skied both days last weekend at Jay, it was good, even good coverage in the glades. I heard they got 10" of very heavy, wet, snow, then rain, then another 10" of lighter snow. I was expecting the trees to be thin, they weren't. Most Winter like conditions I've skied in Months. It was chilly too, even the freezer lived up to its name.
I hit Stowe on Saturday last weekend, probably my second best day of the season. Snow was elevation dependant with nothing down low and a lot up high. I'd average it out to 4-6" but that was after more snow the day before. The stake just hit its season highest level. Adding insult to injury but it was fun getting only my second powder day of the season in April. Don't much matter though because the blow torch goes back on this weekend. And about time, too. A sick spring day at K might just make for my best day of the season.
