The Polish have a very rich heritage and strength of character that has endured centuries inspite of incredible hardships inflicted by various factions . My wife's family comes from a small town (that bears her maiden name ) in the Tatra Mtns south of Krakow . Several family still reside there
. There is also one Ukrainian offshoot, a grandfather on her maternal side who as a calvary officer in White Russian army loyal to the czar ,emigrated to Austria and then eventually here to escape death during the RR Altho iAM German / Italian extraction i grew up most if my friends were Polish . I learned ALL the wrong Polish as a result 😈 The Poles are the salt of the earth in my book ! Also love the cuisine !

Wow. Imagine having a world view where you are judged as a person on how hard you work for someone else, how willing you are to kill people, and how much money your business makes for shareholders. Art and wine are dismissed while "hard work" (or forced labor), profit, and war are admired. A worldview like that seems like it would lead to depression, anger, and a constant desire to have your opinions reinforced by like-minded people. I can see why Fox News is so successful at drawing people like Coach in. |
