Another Bar Bites the Dust

Posted in the window of Laura's Tavern in North Creek "For sale by owner. Closing June 26" Laura's posting on FB says that she is tired of the bar biz and wants to spend more time with her family.
The bar and restaurant business takes a lot of time to run well. This leaves a real hole in the North Creek night life scene. any skiers want to "retire" to North Creek and run a bar?

That's too bad. Laura's was definitely my favorite place to go for a drink. The timing is odd, after  all the upgrades to make the restaurant upstairs.

But you have to wonder haw many bar/restaurants North Creek can support. The skiers really only help the area during winter weekends and holidays.
