Anyone for a Whitewater Kayaking lesson on Sept 24th?

Wife and I are headed up to NC for the weekend (sans kids).  She is doing the photo clinic over at Gore and I have always wanted to do a whitewater kayaking lesson.  I have a private lesson set up for Saturday, but it would be MUCH cheaper if I had at least one other person along for the ride (approx $130 per person).

Any Harvey Roaders out there up for a little adventure?  PM me if so.

Any chance you were driving a light blue bmw and took your lessons at Adirondack Adventures?

Hey Fuj.  Funny - I was at Adirondack Adventures but I was in a silver murano.  We spent the day down at the Glen so I didn't see any other rafters.  I had Jody as an instructor.  She was great and def earned her money.  I am not a small guy and she had to "rescue" me quite a few times.  Had a great day on the river.  Wish I had more time to get into whitewater kayaking.  I now know its something I would like to follow up on.  I think Jody's husband went with you guys.  He was in a kayak as well.

I drove by around 8:40am when I was doing the shuttle and that's when I saw who I thought may be you. Guess not!

How did they kayaking go? Have you learned rolls yet?

Let's just say that I have the first half of the roll perfected.  The second half not so much.
