This thing is looking silly! I'm getting stoked. Up to 60 inches by Sunday night! Then tapering off Monday night with a colder system behind it. It's the perfect set up. earlier this week we received 32 inches of heavy base building love.

Pics and hopefully some vid.

Two from two days ago.

Hiking up in the alpine

The Upper Bowl, this is an inbounds hike to area just above the ski runs. It hasn't looked this fat for 10 years. It's not because we have had a lot of snow, the winds have just been kind so far.

If the Mrs allows, before you get too old ?

Until you heal PT, maybe we should dispatch Benny.... I suppose it's also possible Bosco writes an AZ TR tomorrow. He gets around.

If the snow is good it's a surprisingly cool place to ski. If you like touring off a lift than it's even better. Lots of tight tree lines inbounds I think east coasters would appreciate as well. The town is incredible tho, such great people here.

And...thanks Chris!

I still can't figure out how to put a vid up on here! Oh well, there's the linky.

It's been a real good run here for the last 9 days, I can barely move now. Best conditions here since 2010!

Here you go:

Use the "embed" code from YouTube, and check the "Message is in HTML Format" box... don't use the "Embed Video" tags

Sweet footage... I'm super jealous.

This is up on TGR and epic as well but here is a link to the edit I just threw together. It's been nice to have the coverage and base to get after some of the classics.

Nice video. Some of those were a little too tight for my taste but you managed them well enough.

You been busy! Those steep lines in the second vid look amazing.  Nice that you added some perspective shots at the start of each segment - straight helmet cam vid doesn't do justice to the steepness.  Really nice vids, glad you finally got some great snow!

Hey thanks everyone!

Sig- the steeper lines like The Skinny Beast, CPC, The Gorgeous, and Powell's all are in the 45 to 50 degree range in sections. Powell's being one of the steepest and most classic lines, it's a solid 50 through the very narrow crux.

Yesterday my friend Nick and I tried something new and likely never skied before, very likely. This was the most steep and exposed line I have done here. It's a complicated one and more of a facial line than coulior.

The day before that a local skier died from what we think was a heart attack while skiing in the back country here so we named it after him. This is Tele Dan or Huebner's.
