Backcountry skiers a danger to wildlife?

I believe they are pretty strict about skiing in the Caribou habitat.  Not sure how much poaching happens.

Yea, I found it interesting that such a thing could happen. Never even gave it a thought but it makes sense that it could happen.

Sounds to me like they need to shoot some coyotes and maybe import a few 'boo from further north
