Bearpen. 2/20/15

Took a quick trip up Bearpen with Moguljunky Friday. It was cold but fun. My poor navigating brought us out down below the car but not so bad

Nice! I skied Heisinger Rd two years ago in April, was a nice quick cruise down. Definitely want to explore more up there in the future, this is probably a good year for it.

Amazing to think that Bearpen went dark 55 years ago.

We climbed Bearpen yesterday right after the rain stopped. There is still a lot of snow even though it is wet and set up. Waxless Madshus Anums were perfect ski for this trip. I never had to use skins on the climb. Would love to do some glade clearing here this summer.
