Extreme Experience patrons will receive a private day of skiing at Big Tupper that includes unlimited skiing at Big Tupper for up to 50 people on a day that we are normally closed. The Extreme Experience patron will also receive a seasons pass for 4 people, 8 day passes, will have their name placed on the Chair 2 Base Station and on the donor area of skibigtupper.org.  Extreme Experience patrons will have a reserved named parking space in the front of the ski lodge.  For more information on the new patronage level, visit http://skibigtupper.org/support.

ARISE Chairman Jim LaValley said that, "with the help of so many volunteers, the skiing at Big Tupper has been excellent the past two seasons. With the continued work taking place at the Lodge and other facilities, we know the experience will be even better this year. We look forward to another exciting year."

Re: Big Tupper Early Season Ski Promotion

endoftheline
I'll be waiting until they get enough snow before buying my pass this year. Last year they opened on rocks and dirt in the middle of January. Then they did get enough snow for decent coverage by late Feb and March was excellent. Problem was that they closed the 3rd week in March with tons of snow and great coverage. I know several season pass holders that were not happy at all about the early closing. I wish them good luck this season but anytime you are relying on volunteers to do anything it gets tougher and tougher to keep the effort going. Same people end up doing all the work. In this situation its even tougher with 4 guys actually getting paid and all the rest of the volunteers working their tails off for nothing. Gotta laugh out of the "Extreme Experience" deal, $5000.? Yeah right, I'm sure they'll get a whole bunch of people to pony up that much $$$$ with no guarantee they will even get the place open this year, as we all know you can't count on mother nature to provide.
