I just updated from a 4.5" LG phone to a Pixel 3XL that is 6.3" diagonal. I was very surprised that the small increase in size changed the web usability from painful to mostly ok. Typing is easier because of the wider keypad spacing. The real reason I updated was to get to the newest Android version, so I could run some apps that require it. I got it refurbished on Amazon for around $300; very pleased, like new.
