Bridget Bids Adieu

Bridget Hinman, Marketing Director at Whiteface is moving on.

From Bridget's Facebook Page:

"After what seems to be years of soul searching I have decided that it is time for a new adventure and new goals. In a couple of weeks I will be leaving my position at Whiteface and my little cabin down by the river to embark on a completely new chapter in my life. Destination: New York City."

Bridget loves the city, and I'm betting she thrives there. Best of luck Bridget.

Bridget was the voice of Whiteface.  As my wife posted on Twitter it is bittersweet for my wife and daughters.  Whiteface will have a difficult time filling those ski boots. Best of luck, Bridget.

Turns out Bridget isn't really gone.  For some of us she's closer than ever.

But I got some SCOOP.... Bridget "likes" Ted Ligety.

It's a long story, and if you can believe her, she doesn't "LIKE" like him. But I ended up on his facebook page and found this Warren Miller Trailer, that for some insane reason can't be embedded:

great video - the main theme here is the essence of why I love to ski - when you are skiing everything else fades from your mind and the only thing is making that next turn

I don't know Bridget and don't get up to WF but that video definitely got me stoked for to slide down a mountain with some frozen precipitation on it!!

Pretty obscure I admit.  I'm still "following" Bridget on Twitter and Facebook.  I was on FB the other day and in the scroll bar thingie on the right I see....

"Bridget Likes Ted Ligety."

It struck me as funny so click on the link and teased B about it a bit. Then I ended up on Ted's FB page an he must have a deal with Warren Miller Ent as he was featuring the video.
