Bromley?

jimvdak
Hey all-

Anyone know when Bromley Mountain usually opens for the season? There's a Living Social deal for $131 for a weekend night at the Bromley Sun Lodge, but it's only good though December 18th. Furthermore, anyone interested in going with and splitting the cost? I currently have no takers..haha

Guess you could always ski at Stratton or Magic if Bromley Mtn is still closed..

Yeah, that's what I assumed..I was up there first weekend in December last year and hit Stratton and Mount Snow and Bromley was planning to open the following weekend..seemed like a late start to the season last year though..Still a good deal for the lodging though.

If Bromley is closed at that point of the season, the chance of Magic being up and running is nil.

Yeah, the only time I skied Bromley, it was late january on a  cold, sunny day, and, I was happy to be there, instead of in the shade at Stratton. Think Bear mountain at Killington, the first place you should head in the morning on a cold but sunny day there.

Bromley has a good snowmaking operation and a real commitment to customer service. I wouldn't let the southern exposure concern you too much. Their opening strategy is much like Gore's. aim for Turkey Day.
