Oh yeah! Looks like Sunday might be a good Gunks day.

I was thinking Mt Washington, but maybe the gunks would be a nice substitute with the avy danger likely high.

Yeah I have a Tuckerman trip tentatively planned for the weekend of the 18th, hoping for a good corn cycle by then. I'm still nursing a bum shoulder so I may opt to head to Roger's Rock on Lake George instead.

Ha, we're on opposite schedules. I'm doing trail work at minne 4/17-18. Going to get a chance to try my new x4 set though!

Back in my college days I tinkered around with some top rope climbing. We climbed some at the Gunks, Owls Head in the ADK's and my fav was Rattlesnake Point in Canada. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rattlesnake_Point_(Canada)

It was also at Rattlesnake Point I learned that I DO NOT like  splunking!!!  

That place sounds like fun! If you want to get on the sharp end of a rope sometime this summer, let me know!
