Caberfae Peaks, Mi 11/23/18

Friday was mine and my daughters opening day at Caberfae Peaks in Cadillac,Mi. It was their second weekend being open. The ticket line was the long this morning.
It started out in the mid to upper 20’s and the 2’-3’ base was firm in the shade and much softer in the sun. I meet up with Ciscokid another flatlander
We skied from 10:15 until 11:30 and went in for lunch. Caberfae is the only place I know of that provides I would say at least 40 plugs for crock pots and a microwave to heat food up in. After about an hour we went back out and the temp was around 40-43 and all the snow was a nice spring like snow without becoming like mashed potatoes.





We ended up with24 runs and almost 8,000’  of vertical. For $21 for a lift ticket it was a great way to spend year 19 opening up the ski season with my kid

Great day Ted , enjoyed immensely and got the legs loosened up. Looking forward to s great year with the early start
