Good point, SBR, but his acting up in front of the TV got to be a drag for us and the furniture, so this year we hired a dog whisperer to train us to cure him of it.  No more interruptions when we're watching Animal Planet or there's a cat food commercial on TV...

Good for you. Our pooch seems to be only interested in nature shows, and only those involving canids or felines. He just sits and watches mostly, pretty mellow. If it is a show about wolves, he gets very interested, and will howl along when the TV wolves do.
