Dozens of bison on the loose upstate

Brownski
In Roseboom to be specific, which is near Cooperstown and Oneonta for those of you who aren’t familiar. I’m actually gonna be in the area in about two weeks. I’ll have to keep an eye out...

LOL

I saw that as well. How weird would that be to see one of those things. There's an Elk farm near my house, I've always wondered if they ever get out but I've never seen one.

If you read the article all the way through, it makes it seem like nobody up there has a handle on the situation, least of all the bisons’ owner. I’m hoping it’s the beginning of a permanent wild herd. That would be cool, though it would suck for the local landowners.

I doubt DEC would let them free range. Most likely they would be taken out by them. Bison burgers

Greek used to have Elk Burgers on their menu in support of the local Elk farm. I don't know if the still do or not. They were damn good.
