Elk Dec

I was originally going to Platty, but my lack of sleep the night before changed that. So I decided to try Elk for the first time from 1230-430pm for S45. Very East mostly high way driving from were I live in Orange County NY just a little longer then 1.5 hours. Lots of nice blue runs with some nice blacks to. Snowed all day.  . Kind of like MT Snow just not as big. I will go back for sure. Very nice 2 nd day out. No singles or double lines was the only thing I did not like, and a shuttle from parking lots to buy tickets then ski line for bus was kind of long but probably holiday weekend added to that, Overall great skiing their and easy access. Food prices were good to less then $12 for small coffee, French Fries (good), and cheeseburger with bacon(not so good).
