Every Kid Skis for Free at June Mountain

This is exactly the kind of thing that ski areas need to do to attract the next generation of skiers.

In a related story, I am not going to be skiing June Mountain any time soon.

That's great! I always felt that the local ski areas should support Maple Ski Ridge which has been a feeder ever since Freddie walked in the door.

In a related story, I was at Maple this week helping them get ready for the season.

ISKINY.com has a passport available that allows 3rd and 4th grade kids to ski/ride for free (after a $22 application processing fee (?)). It's available to kids from any state.

Skivermont.com has a similar free pass ($10 application fee) for 5th graders.

I'd love to go there sometime. They've been building awesome parks for years. The ski free deal is def nice for families. Glad to hear it's reopening.
