What are Permalinks?

If you want to send someone a specific link to something in the forum, use the "Permalink" feature in the upper right hand corner of the forum.  Using the permalink generated at the top of the page will bring the person to the beginning of the thread:



Using the permalink on top of a specific post will bring the person to the specific post within a thread:



Copying the URL from the top of your screen will not work the way you want it to.
