Windham Mountain ski resort says an 18-year-old woman skier was killed in an off-trail accident on the Upper Warpath trail around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

The ski resort says the Upper Warpath is rated "more difficult."

They also say the teen was not wearing a helmet.

The ski resort says she was treated at the scene by the Windham Mountain Ski Patrol and transferred to Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, where she was later pronounced dead.

What's Upper Warpath like?  
What is meant by off trail?
Did she ski off-trail, go off-trail while out of control, or is it a glade?
If you are having fun, you are doing it right.
