Re: Greek Peak Conditions

Skiing was decent yesterday. Lots of snow guns going. It's too bad they didn't get their new ones in time to get them installed for this season.

I'll put out my annual request to GPPartner. Please please please put up a sign at the entrance to the quad that tells or shows customer they need to put their leg against the orange bar / gate in order for it to open. Your lifties are clearly  mute, and cant' tell them. And while I commend you for hiring the disabled, multiple times yesterday I had to help people after 2, 3, 4 empty chairs went by and the lifties just stood there.

So a sign would really help. Or you could hire lifties that can talk. Or you could pay me each time I tell your customers "You have to put your leg against the gate or it won't open." It won't be a lot of fun at Christmas time when you actually have a lineup, to watch empty chairs going up. It's bad enough that the majority of chairs on the quad only get loaded with 2 or 3 people, but one problem at a time right?

I'll be back next year to ask again for a sign. Next year I'll even design one for you, with a stick figure pressing his stick knee against a stick gate.

Re: Greek Peak Conditions

Agreed billymc.  The loading area at the quad has been an unorganized cluster this year so far.  It’s usually a free for all.  Having a lifty bringing singles, doubles, and triples together to make full chairs and then another directing skiers how to use the gates would make a world of difference during peak hours.👍

Heading up shortly.  Looks like great coverage from the webcam!

Joneski, the quad line and loading has been an unorganized cluster almost consistently since they installed the lift. It seems like something that a little bit of training should be able to fix. Or a sign. Or a sticker on each one of those orange arms at the lift entrance saying something like "Put your frickin knee against this orange bar or it wont' open."

Doppelmayr does sell orange pads that attach to the gates indicating that skiers/boarders must lean against them.

I'll complain if I want! haha

Both Sat and Sun were good skiing. Did a couple hours both days. Looks like they're making snow as fast as their current setup allows - hope the forecast for Friday and Saturday shifts to colder temps.

They must be on backorder.
