Happy Canada Day SBL !!!  We here along the  St Lawrence feel a great kinship with our Canadian Neighbors , hell we identify more with Canada than NYS.     :)You guys have the best beer too ;)

as this was Canada day, I seized the wind and got in a downwinder (downwind SUP paddle).  It was wonderful.  That is all.

^ Nice. In other news, it has been a stressful long weekend for the dog: thunderstorms every day and fireworks in the distance every night. I hope nobody decides to celebrate July 4 up here. Speaking of rockets, recently retired astronaut Chris Hadfield and his folksinger brother Dave got together and created this charming little ditty, with help from family and friends. A lot of us live this way, really:
