Re: Heli-skiing in the Eastern US

I:)skiing
This is going to be a lot of work getting permits and permission.   I hope the company succeeds.  There are lots of NYC/Boston/Conn/etc folks with fat wallets who will spill this kind of cash in a heart beat, for the right product.

Product:  There is plenty out there.   Most Heli trips I  have been on or read about, you are on what I consider Blue/Black terrain.   If they put you on serious steep, you get hurt, you sue, whether you win or not, it cost money to defend etc.    You drop 2-3k vert,  but it is really not about that, its about the "experience" in my experience.  Its fun jumping into a heli, flying over the peaks and seeing the scenery, then climbing out and skiing fresh.   The folks I have been with in the heli worry more about what is for lunch and the included dinner than the pitch or depth of snow.

$700 for that brief moment of pretending you are the star of a Warren Miller film.    People will pay.    If they find the right advertising and marketing.
