Hickory Ski Center 3/1/12

I opened Hickory for myself yesterday, it just took a bit of work to do it.

Fortunately, a groomer had headed up ridge run just before I did so I didn't have to break trail the whole time.

Top of Poma 2


I skied down Winfall to the bottom of poma 2, then hiked over to the top of poma 1 and skied down Lower Peabody.
The upper half of Winfall skied great, but it got a bit bony towards the lower half.



Lower Peabody was a bit too low angle to get enough speed for some good turns on, but I'm sure it will ski great tomorrow since it got groomed out.
