Holy Traffic!!!

What a drive up from down-state tonight. I've been doing this for 10 years now, and I can't ever remember a Friday night with so much North-bound traffic, without an accident or bad weather causing it. I don't think there's anyone left in NJ!!!

Looks like it might be a very good weekend for the ski areas of the Northeast.

I was going to post in "Tales from the Road", but tonight's traffic did deserve it's own thread.  What I saw was tons of volume, with really no accidents. We had to go 50 mph for about an hour, but we zoomed the rest.  That's is amazing considering the volume.

Never seen anything like it.

Reminded me of MLK weekend drive up. We lost about 20 minutes in traffic, not bad, glad to be back in Adks.

Yes - I noticed it too. I had to pick up my wife's Subi from the shop (head gaskets @ 145K) so we got a late start, 6:30PM. Traffic was thick but moving. I was in a line of about 10 cars all the way to N. Creek, I never see that on a Friday night. Turned the heat up and went to B&W for dinner, the place was bump'n. No wait for a table but I think we grabbed the last one.

Go Early to Gore unless if you want to park in the main lot.

I think we are in for another record day.
Mother Nature has not given us much snow but business is way up.
