yea I know I suck at getting TR's out... boots are Rossi BCX11's with a zipper. Not overly impressed, get the job done and were cheap! They fill in nicely between NNN and garmont plastic two buckles though

I got about 40 days in this year. I wish it was more. I had some amazing ski tours in the southern High Peaks. I had a few nice days at Smuggs, will likely get more over the next few years, Grandaughter at UVM. Had some interesting days in Utah, bought a pair of Nordica Enforcers, what a super do everything ski. I really hope to do more next year - I say this every end of season. 40 is no record, but the days I got were quality.

The only time I am reminded of NJ is when I have a violent case of the shits

Only 10 days for me. All at the Orda Mountains. All I know is my youngest told me the other day that skiing is his favorite thing to do. That's diverse enough for me.

That's going to change when he's 17, but he may feel a little awkward talking about that one.

25 days here...
2 at Jay
2 at Gore
4 at Titus
17 at Whiteface.
First time in both November and May for me. Also first time skiing Whiteface’s opening and closing. I’ll say I’m seventeen and skiing is pretty much my favorite thing...

This year, less diverse than I would have liked.  Skied Garnet Hill for the second time since 2000; that has to count as a new ski area.  Working Saturdays cuts into travel time.  Unfortunately, that's where I need to be at present.

What did you think about Sundance?

I’ve always been curious about that place

We really enjoy Sundance. It’s a bit of a throwback, as they don’t have any high speed lifts, but they do a descent job grooming, so it makes for a nice relaxing day. It’s by no means anywhere near the size of surrounding resorts. When they get hit with new snow, it tends to last, and the patrol lets you wander. We’ve had some really good powder skiing there in past years. We didn’t have any new snow this year, but no complaints.  The views are also quite impressive.

They have a pretty nice base area, with a great restaurant and bar. When Robert Redford is out of town, they open up his private dining room, which is always a treat.
