How to Embed a Video

Go to the page (YouTube, Vimeo etc) where the video lives.



Click the EMBED button. It's in blue here because I clicked on it.

On YOUTUBE it's under a button called SHARE.

A box will pop up that looks something like this:



Copy that code and paste it into your Forum post.

Then use the EMBED VIDEO feature at the top of the post area to add these tags:

<nabble_embed>   {Your Code Here}    </nabble_embed>

...AROUND the code.

IMPORTANT: THE USE THE EMBED CODE - NOT THE URL OF THE YOUTUBE PAGE.

Gorgo... I was not trying to single you out or embarrass you.  Half the members of the forum have a hard time embedding videos. More than half.  To complicate things, video is in so many different formats that even when you do it right it doesn't always work.

A few months back I posted instructions in The Guide, but it will be more obvious here as a sticky.

The most common problem I see is that people put the URL between the Video Embed tags, not the EMBED CODE. The embed code is found under the SHARE button on YouTube, Vimeo etc.
