Discover NY Ski Day offers residents of New York State the opportunity to experience skiing and snowboarding at more than 25 participating mountains across the state for a special promotional rate. Lift tickets will be on sale starting December 28, and will cost either $12 or $25. Beginners looking to get involved in the sport or brush up on their skills can secure a beginner lift ticket, lesson and rentals for $25 or $35 depending on the ski area. In New York State, there is a ski area within 90 miles of every major metropolitan area.
