Buffalo Metro getting slammed with lake effect right now. No snow 20 minutes south at the moment. Expecting the band to shift south this afternoon. Hearing rumblings the thruway may get closed. That would be a bummer.

Skiing is great now, take the rest of the week off and enjoy it, work next week...
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

You would only be skiing in zub 0 temps if you ski at night.
It's 10 degrees at 7AM now, tomorrow will likely to out at 10, Friday will be Sunny and around 15, Saturday and Sunday will be warmer.

Suit yourself - I'll enjoy the skiing while it's fantastic. Yesterdays snow quality was the best we have had all season.

Friday should be nice at Gore, a tad cold but with much less wind and full sun will be great.  Go and give us a trip report :)

2nd highest snow depth on Mt Mansfield in record history on this date....near 100 inches on the ground near the summit of Stowe.  This winter despite the rain is well above average for the mountains so far with a severe gradient to the SE of them.

Bodes well for extended spring conditions, but still frustrating when we have multiple cycles of great surfaces getting crapped up by the brief thaw/ncp/freeze.  Nothing new, but even more frustrating than usual given the above average snow!
