Mountain Riders Alliance is a western US based organization who's goal is to create environmentally friendly, skier/rider owned ski areas. They've got some lofty goals. It seems to me they are looking for a way to merge their passion for skiing with their concern for the planet.
Anyway the MRA blog and website are pretty cool, loaded with ski adventure year-round. Thought some might be interested in this piece they published on Magic yesterday on the blog:
