Molly Hogan Loop

At my house I plow with my Ranger using a cable winch. Yesterday my cable broke. I was going to repair it with cable clamps until my neighbor stopped by and told me about a Molly Hogan Loop. He is a big boss for a major pipeline company so I certainly listened to what he had to say.

Thought I'd share this because it's handy, easy, slicker than fried snot, and I'd never heard of it before.

Meant to mention when I first saw this- This is why you gotta hang out with old dudes once in a while. They know some shit

I've only had to plow once since my repair but I'll report that it's held up perfectly so far. I'll be replacing the cable in the spring with synthetic, but I'm certainly impressed with this easy repair so far.
