Thin but good coverage. Like many northeast xc areas, van Ho was primarily surviving on the big post-Christmas dump. Since the recent thaw, they've got maybe 8 inches of snow. People were out shoveling thin spots on Sunday. Everything was open except the lower section of the Ladies' 5 k loop, so 47 out of 50 km were open. Some of the downhill corners may be scraped to ice due to the Loppet on Saturday. Fine to bring good skis.
