Mountain Collective announces 17-18 pass

Benny Profane
It gets better. https://mountaincollective.com They added Sugarbush, since Stowe slinked over to the dark side. Benny is happy, because that's right up the road from Killington. Also, Alta/Snowbird is now two seperate mountains, so, that actually doubles the Salt Lake dates from two to four. Pick one of those mountains as your three day (you get three days at one mountain if you buy early), and you get a week, and half off Alta ain't bad, either, if you stay longer. Snowbasin is new, too, so, hello, Utah!

Thanks, Liftopia. Vail sucks.

$1 for one kid with an adult MCP.  Decide early for that because probably will go up to $99 by April.

Lake Louise and Sunshine also considered separately so that could mean 4 days included for a trip to Banff.

I'll happily go for two days at Sugarbush over Stowe.

Initial pricing for MCP is over.  Price went up to $429 and $1 kid MCP is gone.  Still can get the bonus day at one pre-designated location.

The MCP is almost done with the $449 price with the bonus day.  Usually not sold at all during July.  Comes back some time in August but without the bonus day.  Price could go up $10, or $20, or $30.

The MCP is back on sale at pretty much the same time as last year.  Up $20 to $469.  As expected, the bonus day is gone.

The new affiliate destination is Niseko United in Japan but like Hakuba and Chamonix only 2 days, no discount for additional days beyond that.

The marketing blurb sent to people on the MCP e-list:

"Skiing or riding the Mountain Collective is like nothing else you'll ever experience. And now with the addition of another premier Japanese Global affiliate, Niseko United, to go along with Hakuba Valley, we now offer the best of Japan on one pass! Also new this season Sugarbush, VT and Snowbasin, UT have joined the club, plus Alta, Snowbird, Banff Sunshine, and Lake Louise are now unique destinations, giving you more days to explore with your pass than ever before. The Mountain Collective is more than just the 16 best ski and snowboard destinations in the world; it's a society dedicated to untracked bowls, unspoiled glades and the best ski season ever — every season."
