They survived the thaw and will be open on Christmas Day for the first time in 3 years. Last year, they did not even open until December 29 and two years ago, they opened on December 26. The season is off to a great start.
Here is a poem that they wrote on their website.

WELCOME BACK WINTER!
Twas’ the day before Christmas at Mountain Creek,
9-5pm are our hours today – on Vernon & South Peaks,
Granite is open 10-5pm, so go grab your skis.
Winter has returned and promised us freeze.
The Groomers were busy, and worked late into the night
After all of that riding, stop into Red Tail Lodge for an Aprés ski bite!
We can’t wait to see you all shredding down the mountain,
The temperatures dropped, allowing our snow guns to roar like a fountain.
I hope Mother Nature is listening as the Creek kids all cheer
“We’re skiing and riding in NJ on Christmas this year!”
I've lived in New York my entire life.
