Mt Vanho happy with Snow Factory, reached 150 days

Remember when Mt Vanho started up the Snow Factory in October?  On closing day April 22, they exceeded the goal of being open 150 days by making it to 157.

"How long are you hoping to extend the season this year?

KS: Our hope was to hit 150 skier days and since passing that number everything is a bonus. Beyond the total number of days, the most amazing part is we have not run out of skiers. Our weekends have been busy and the weekdays have been steady. Season Pass holders have obviously enjoyed the extra days but destination skiers keep coming."

Van Ho is officially closed, but people are still skiing Porter.  They got snow last night.

I just hope this late season does not jinx next season.

Amazing, our drive home on Sunday, after 60 days of Alpine fun - it was snowing and big!


Sadly, it looks like we are done for the season. We may be able to get one more weekend in.. We will see.
