Don't know if this fits what you are looking for but what I follow for Utah weather is Wasatch Snow Forecast.  Ski Utah links to WSF.

I'm no Wx guy (whatever Wx stands for) but The Weather Network might be another source for Canada.

WSF is a great resource.

As you can see from this post - a screen cap of the new dropdown - we already have several east coast pages:

I want to avoid doing a separate page for every region out west, and also want a logical place to put the NATIONAL weather maps that currently live on the ALBANY page:

The idea was to have a page where you could get a overview of what is going on across the country. It's not proving to be easy.

And as I said the other challenge is that there is very little regional info available for Canada.

I'm not a weather geek.  Since I plan where I'm going for a mid-season trip out west well in advance, it's easy for me to focus on one place in terms of weather.  Don't usually bother until a couple weeks before I leave home.

If I'm just curious about a region, I check out OnTheSnow.  For instance, here's the list for West Coast.  There is also a list for the Mountain Collection destinations.
