I agree.
People don't want their homes abolished, I get that. But it is not without precedent.
There is a town called Bound Brook. It is bound by brooks on all sides. I think they've had major flood relief 3x in 20 years. These are modest homes built in a flood plain. I'm sure the federal relief way exceeds the market value of the homes.
