Stoneham is a nice small mountain. It's not really a mom and pop so it has a more corporate feel, but you can find some nice trees. I had a really good time but don't know if I'd go back unless I was up there for some reason.
I agree. Not a destination mountain, but certainly worth a half or even a full day if you're already up there and conditions are good.
