I'm spending turkey day at the in-laws house in Ohio. Tonight we were driving back from a cousins house and I saw some lights on in the distance... it was white. Turns out there is a whopping 300' ski hill about 15 miles from their house (you can see for miles around here!). Ironically it is called Mad River Mountain. They are following the northeast's plan and opening this weekend as well. It is a Peak Resorts property (same guy who owns Mount Snow). If I had my sticks in the car I would probably go out there tomorrow just to say I skied Ohio (I have also skied Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin).
