Parlor Skis

campgottagopee
Anyone hear of them?? We never had until we met one of the co-founders at Stowe. Dude pulls up on some wicked looking maple skis, and we were like whoa....those are cool

All hand made in 'Merica

If you're in the market for hand made skis check them out. http://www.parlorskis.com/#about

Don't know anything about them but they sure looked cool and the dude was chill

Never heard of these guys, but I have met a few people on their own DIY skis.  Here are some other small scale examples from the "handmade" movement: SkiBuilders.com

It really does take something special to build your own.  Not quite the same as a build from scratch, but I went through the process of creating a DIY split-board.  I had a blast doing the work, but the precision of the final product was not quite the same as what would come out of a "real" shop.
