Keith is one of the world's great humans.  Judy is such a good person too.

He seems like a great guy. Thanks for posting that here.You make a legit point.

A dear friend and ski bud passed from ALS. It's a lousy disease.

I learned about Keith's MLS in the fall of that year from Judy.  I really wanted to get him out on our trails for what might be his last ski.  Some snow fell early in the season, but I decided it wasn't enough, I was too scared to chance it.

We never skied that time, and I regret it now.

ALS is an awful disease. I had a ski buddy, who was also an outstanding human being who touched the lives of many in positive and long lasting ways, die of ALS earlier this year.

Peace and love, indeed. Thank you for sharing, Shaman. I am 62 now and this really hits home about the value of health and the fleeting nature of life. Keith and Judy seem to be dealing with it with dignity and grace, cheers to them and tele-ho.

Thanks Benny. I'm overcome by this.  

His wife is incredible. She posted on FB about this last night and got several hundred responses, and it looks like she spent the entire night writing individual responses.

They were so sweet together. Keith knew Judy in high school (1977) and always had a thing for her.  They lived hundreds of miles apart, but somehow ran into each other 30 years later, and started seeing each other.  They were married in 2017.

One thing that feels like more than a coincidence to me... I knew he was ill but had no idea the end was so close. I posted the pic on the previous page on his FB page 3 days ago and "he" responded (voice to text), but I know now it was Judy.

Sad, also had a great friend die this year from this same disease .

Harv ,   Be thankful for his friendship and honor his memory .

And most importantly we All should hug the ones you love OFTEN and give  thanks for each day !

We are not in control and therefore should live our remaining time WELL, waste not any effort on negativite nuts and treat each day as a Banquet !
