Plattekill NY: 1/17/15

As usual Platty  never disappoints. The morning was cccccold but we dressed warm enough so it was no problem. The open terrain had great coverage and fine conditions with some nice loose stuff on top

Mostly everything off the double was the place to hang out

It got a little crazy towards the end of the day by the triple but it's ski on the double all day long.
Loved the chili and mothers milk stout

I'll be bringing out 2 first timers next Saturday

Cool, I was there the same day.  Me and Cornhead took two people there that hadn't been there yet to check it out.  Was decent considering there was no natural to go into the woods, which I tried.  The triple broke down around 2 right before we left.  The whales were alot of fun.  While it was the busiest I had ever seen Plattekill, it still wasn't busy and there was minimal waiting especially for a Holiday weekend.

Looks very good from here. Lift issues seem to be everywhere lately. Were you bottoming out much on the closed trails, Glade?

Yea, I was hitting rocks all over the place.  I made some nice sucker tracks for some kids to follow in.  LOL

I'am no kid ,but I guess i'am a sucker

I had new skis ,didn't wana use but others were being tuned. Bad planning on my part.
