Sacklers Buy Controlling Interest in Peak

This story isn't exactly new, but I think it's important.

I'm curious about what people think about this and if it will affect their patronage of Peak in any way.

FWIW not sure if where this thread even belongs.

Those in the DC/NoVA area who are already pissed at Peak Resorts consider this news another reason to look elsewhere for a season pass or to spend money on discounted day tickets.  The former SnowTime locations (Roundtop, Liberty, Whitetail) used to have a 3-mountain season pass that was quite a deal.  No local or PA option exists so the price jump to a Peak pass is a big one, especially for a family with kid(s).

Re: Sacklers Buy Controlling Interest in Peak

We discussed this in the Peak resorts thread a week ago. Benny is leading a boycott.

Sorry I missed it and will go look.

I understand Benny feeling and it wouldn't be that hard for me to follow.  The two I'd miss would be Hunter and Wildcat.

EDIT: I am obviously senile as I posted in that thread too.
